“Boomer Uncle" is a 2024 Tamil comedy film written and directed by Swades MS and produced by Anbu and Karthik K. Thillai under the banner of Anka Media. The movie, featuring Oviya as Oviya, Yogi Babu as Nesam, and Robo Shankar as Minor Kunju, represents a blend of comedy, mayhem, and surprise turns.

The movie revolves around “Nesam” (Yogi Babu) and his foreign wife “Amy” (Oviya), who are almost divorced. To finalize their divorce, they visit Nesam's neglected ancestral mansion, which is full of mystery and secrets. Amy has a hidden motive; she is searching for the secret scientific research of Nesam's dead father, who possessed unimaginable power.

When they arrive at the mansion, everything becomes chaotic. Nesam's old friends; “Dawood” (Seshu), “Bala” (Billu), and “Thangadurai”; also turn up, each of them having their own reasons for doing so. The empty castle turns into the center of unexpected meetings and inexplicable events.

And if all this chaos is not enough, a hologram of Oviya suddenly appears out of thin air to join in to make the already cluttered scene even more disorganized. As if things could not get weirder for Nesam, Amy brings a Frankenstein monster; a Franken-Hulk hybrid whose head is Robo Shankar's! The movie goes haywire, combining humor, science fiction, and surrealism in a completely unforeseeable manner.

While Nesam and his friends are trying to attach their head or tail to the craziness, the house is converted into a battleground where science, deceit, and illogical misconceptions clash. Every minute more preposterous than the last, the gang must discover a way out of the mayhem, while determining what Nesam's dad's dastardly invention is used for.

With humorous dialogue, over-the-top humor, and laugh-out-loud moments, “Boomer Uncle” is a raging circus ride with plenty of laughter that keeps viewers enthralled for the whole film. Released in 2024, the film promises to be a laughter-filled ride for those looking for light-hearted entertainment with crazy comedic twists.
