“Skanda” is a 2023 Telugu/Tamil action film. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, and the movie will be produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Starring in dual roles: Bhaskar Raju and Skanda are Ram Pothineni and, playing Ranjith Reddy's daughter is Sreeleela, who becomes the love of Bhaskar's life.

The movie revolves around "Bhaskar", a youth who is held in esteem for his peerless martial art expertise, whose life is altered completely when he gets recruited by a secret government department. Bhaskar becomes Skanda, a fearless warrior who must confront perilous moments and life-taking threats, and ensure that an lethal terrorist gang does not accomplish their evil design. As the stakes rise, Skanda's journey becomes a battle of courage, love, and sacrifice.

The movie "Skanda", which released on September 28, 2023, received mixed to bad reviews. Though the high-octane action sequences and the performance of Ram Pothineni were appreciated, the narration and the direction were under attack in the write-ups of critics. Despite this grand plan, the movie underperformed in the box office.

Released, meanwhile, on streaming platforms Disney + Hotstar as well as on Zee5, “Skanda” is part of the list in 2023 and gives doses of intense action and drama as well. Perfect it may not be, but worth a watch would be for fans like high-energy movies and dynamic work of Ram Pothineni.
