Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (2005)

Raj, played by Samir Aftab and Jiya, played by Tamannaah Bhatia are childhood sweethearts. They have always been the best of friends and after reaching their teens they realize that they love each other. Jiya’s father however isn’t happy about this fact that his daughter likes his friend’s son Raj so much and decides to send her abroad to study. Raj is devastated at the news of his love moving seven seas away where he might never see her again. Raj’s mother has her last wish that only Jiya should be her daughter-in-law some day. Soon Raj grows up and goes to the same place abroad where Jiya is. They both run into each other at college but don’t know yet who the other is. Raj and Jiya begin to dislike each other because of the many tiffs they have had. Evetually Raj meets another girl called Firdaus but her fiancé gives Raj a tough time. Also Jiya gets engaged to be married to another boy. Soon the two youngsters realize that they are each other’s lost loves and things take a different turn in their lives as Jiya has to now convince her parents to let her marry Raj. The movie is directed by Shabah Shamsi and produced by Salim. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit. The cinematography is by Karim Khatri.
