Megha, played by Masumeh Makhija is a simple and honest girl with big dreams. Even though she is plain looking with no sophistication, she still aspires to be the top model in India and become a successful one at that. She stays with her mother and father, who is an income tax officer. They live a very middle class and simple lifestyle. Megha goes to a party with her friends and there she is mistakenly introduced as Sarika Verma. There she meets the famous Almera Kochchar, played by Rati Agnihotri who is known to mentor young girls into elegant and successful models.
When Almera meets Megha she is impressed by her conviction of being a model and thus decides to mentor and guide her. She makes Megha sign a contract. However little does Megha know that this is all a part of a huge plot, where she is a mere pawn, where millions are being gained though illegal activities. Megha is now caught in the middle of the vicious plot.
The movie is directed by Shona Urvashi and produced by Jayshree Makhija and Nirmal Anand. The music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and Ranjit Barot. The star cast includes Zulfikar Syed, Om Puri, Tinnu Anand, Dilip Prabhawalkar, Raman Lambha, Jayant Kripalani, Cyrus Broacha, Raj Zutshi, Rati Agnihotri, Reema, Peeya Rai Choudhary.
