Court - State Vs A Nobody

"Court: State vs. A Nobody" is a recently released Tollywood movie directed by Ram Jagadeesh. Stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda, P. Sai Kumar, Harsh Roshan, and Sridevi. The movie is about a passionate defence lawyer who fights corruption and bias while defending a teenager who has been falsely accused of breaking a strict statute.

Surya Teja (Priyadarshi Pulikonda) is a young lawyer who wants to be a respected lawyer like his father, who only notarized papers. He works for Mohan Rao's law practice (P. Sai Kumar) and wants to make a big break. Chandrashekar (Harsha Roshan), a 19-year-old teenager from a poor household, does odd tasks to help his family. He falls in love with Jabilli (Sridevi), a 17-year-old girl from an affluent family. Their connection is harmless but frowned upon by Jabilli’s strong uncle, Mangapathi (Sivaji), who rules her family. When he finds out about her interactions with Chandrashekar, he gets his lawyer, Damodhar, a police officer who is easy to bribe, and his own power to file an unnecessary case against Chandrashekar under the POCSO Act for sexual abuse.

When Surya accidentally discovered the case, she was shocked to find that no thorough investigation had been carried out and that the law was being misused. Even though he doesn’t want the case, he accepts it, endangering his reputation and career. Surya’s realization of how Mangapathi and the police have been shaping the story to their benefit lays bare the fragility of justice’s truth-ascertaining facade. With blistering cross-examinations and fiery closing arguments, he proves Chandrashekar’s innocence and returns the boy’s dignity. The ultimate Chandrashekar acquittal and the Surya commendation for his dogged adherence to the new course lead to the film’s uplifting conclusion.
