Devil's Double Next Level (2025) is a horror comedy film directed and written by S. Prem Anand. Santhanam, Geethika Tiwary, Selvaraghavan, and Gautham Vasudev Menon star in the film. It is the fourth instalment of the hit Dhilluku Dhuddu series and is about a bizarre YouTube reviewer who finds himself in a possessed movie world.

Krishna, aka Kissa 47 (Santhanam), is a wannabe-hip YouTuber who raps movie reviews peppered with "bro" in each line. Uneducated, unemployed, and penniless, he manages to woo the rich girl Harshini (Geethika Tiwary), who is desperate to marry him. Kissa is invited for a special screening by the creepy director Hitchcock Iruthyaraj (Selvaraghavan), who has ulterior motives against critics. Kissa takes his whole family to the screening of Cinema Paradise, only to realise too late that they've been inside a cursed movie. Inside the cinema, Kissa's family is thrust into grotesque and frightening roles. They have to survive a convoluted plot full of ghosts, traps, and illusions to get out before the screen goes black for good.

As he battles to stay alive, Kissa gradually discovers Hitchcock's pervy motives for attacking critics, holding them responsible for shattering his reputation and aspirations. From jump scares to absurd gags, Kissa attempts everything, ranging from hip-hop incantations to divine incantations to rescue his family. In the course of this, the film also includes zany surprises, a Gautham Vasudev Menon cameo appearance, and some surprising emotional instances. The climax is built to a mad confrontation, wherein Kissa must decide between his comic timidity and actual courage to lift the curse.

Devil's Double Next Level manages some enjoyment with its creative sets and good VFX. But for all the style wrapped up in the packaging, the movie falters with comedy that fails to connect. Joke timing goes awry, leaving people silent instead of laughing. Santhanam's charm saves some scenes, and some fans of the Dhilluku Dhuddu series will relish the mayhem, but overall, the movie needs the snappy writing to push it to the next level.
