Dil Tujhko Diya (1987)

Ajay Sahni is a wealthy industrialist who lives a comfortable life with his wife. His wife gets pregnant and gives birth to a son and they name him Ashok. Sadly she dies due to complications of child birth. After a few months Ajay remarries a woman named Savitri and she gives birth to another son and they name him Vijay. Ajay suddenly passes away one day and the police suspect Savitri to be responsible and thus arrest her. She is then sentenced to several years in prison. Ashok meanwhile goes abroad to study while Vijay is treated badly by Girdharilal and his son. Savitri is released from jail and comes to the rescue of Vijay and decides to educate him. She has hopes that Ashok will help them return to their mansion again, but that doesn’t happen, as he thinks his mother killed his dad and he also hates Vijay. The film is directed and produced by Rakesh Kumar. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the story is written by Sayed Sultan. The star cast includes Kumar Gaurav, Suresh Oberoi, Mala Sinha, Rati Agnihotri, Amrish Puri, Parikshit Sahni and Aruna Irani.
