Ek Nazar (1972)

Ek Nazar is directed by B.R. Ishaara, released on 28th July ,1972, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri, Nadira, Tarun Bose. Raghunath Tyagi (Tarun Bose) is a leading prosecutor and Criminal Lawyer, who lives with his wife and son in an upper middle-class lifestyle. Raghunath wants his son Akash (Amitabh Bachchan) to become a lawyer like him instead becomes a poet. One day he hears a woman singing his songs, meets with Shabnam (Jaya Bhaduri) and wants to marry her but unfortunately, she is a prostitute. Raghunath Tyagi objects to their affair so Akash moves out of the house, continues to see Shabnam. She wants to free herself from the brothel to lead a normal life but her madam Aminabai (Nadira) has sold her off to a nawab so confronts her, in the scuffle Aminabai gets killed and Shabnam is sent to prison for first degree murder. Tyagi carries out the case being a criminal prosecutor and hopes Shabnam is not freed for the betterment of him and his son Akash.
