Saravana and Muruga are two brothers. Their father gave their uncle, Sivaraman, ₹7,000 to start a business in the city. But Sivaraman never returned the money. Years later, their father visited Sivaraman, now a rich businessman, to ask for help. Sivaraman insulted them, then later murdered their father by running him over with a car. Coming back for revenge under the name Salomon, Saravana is once more imprisoned after Sivaraman frames him. Muruga, a gentle and clumsy man, resides with his aunt and is in love with a girl by the name of Alamelu.
When his aunt falls ill, Muruga tries to save her but fails. After her death, Alamelu shelters him. Salomon escapes prison. Muruga later meets Rosy, Alamelu’s twin and Salomon’s wife, who is pregnant. They are attacked by Sivaraman’s men. Rosy dies while hiding in the cold. Devastated, Salomon sets out to kill Sivaraman. Muruga calls him, advocating peace instead of retaliation. Sivaraman dies when he falls off a cliff while trying to flee.
