"Enaku Endey Kidaiyaathu" is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller movie directed by Vikram Ramesh and produced by Karthik Venkatraman. Featuring Vikram Ramesh, Karthik Venkatraman, and Swayam Siddha, the movie takes place entirely within a bungalow, making it a gripping and suspenseful crime thriller.

The movie is about "Shekhar" (Vikram Ramesh), a taxi driver who gets "Oorvasi" (Swayam Siddha) from a bar late one night. Obviously drunk, Oorvasi invites Shekhar into her bungalow for a drink, informing him that her husband, Devaraj, is away from home. Reluctant at first, Shekhar accepts, not knowing that his evening is going to be a perilous one. Soon, a burglar named David enters the house, followed by politician Masthan Bhai, who comes to hand over a bag of money that Oorvasi had asked him to bring to alleviate her financial crisis.

What starts off as a kooky gathering soon turns into chaos. Deceptions unravel, and suspicions begin brewing, before long blood smudges and corpses are the order of the day. Secrets-burdened characters engage in a survival game of desperation with doors locked, secret codes, and spurt of gunfire generating an atmosphere of tension. Panic is established as rash choices reap deadly dividends, keeping the viewers on edge till the end reveal.

"Enaku Endey Kidaiyaathu" hits with its raw narration and small-town setting, creating an engaging thriller that holds the viewer. The big plus of the film is its tight narration and unexpected turns. Swayam Siddha's act of sultry and enigmatic Oorvasi is breathtaking, bringing an air of mystery and suspense into the story. Although the movie risks, it stays on track at a steady speed, giving a suspenseful and well-wrapped thriller for viewers of mystery.
