Geet Gaata Chal is a musical film released in 1975 directed by Hiren Nag and produced by Tarachan Barjatya for Rajshri Productions. Starring in the film are Sachin, Sarika, Madan Puri, Padma Khanna and Leela Mishra.
A simple plot with Durga babu and his wife Ganga who meet a simpleton Shyam(Sachin), an orphan who has a very nice voice and sings well. They take him home where he meets their daughter Radha( Sarika) . Both take a liking for each other, while Radha falls in love with him, he is unsure as he wants to spend rest of his time wandering, singing and dancing and stay a free bird and he leaves the home breaking Radha’s s heart while her family is preparing to get her married and settle her. Will Shyam return and what impact does he have on her family.
