“Haraa” is a thriller action film directed by Vijay Sri G and produced by Kovai SP Mohanraj under the banner of JM Production Private Limited. The movie stars Mohan and Anumol in the lead.
The movie is about “Ram” (Mohan), a devoted father who lives a peaceful life with his wife “Nila” (Anumol) and daughter Nimisha in Ooty. Their peace is broken when Ram hears shocking news that Nimisha, a college student in Coimbatore, has taken her life. Disbelieving the facts and with disbelief creeping into his heart, Ram sets out on a mission to find out what really happened with his daughter.
Hopeful of finding justice, Ram takes up the role of "Dawood Ibrahim" and begins investigating with the assistance of friends of Nimisha. As he delves deeper into the issue, he uncovers unbelievable scams in the medical field, including the sale of low-quality drugs, faulty pregnancy kits, and other illegal activities. His search for the truth also finds a coercive prostitution ring targeting young women.
Ram strikes back and abducts the criminals in question, dismantling the system of tainted players one piece at a time. In his pursuit of the truth, a twist throws him into thinking something else: Nimisha is not dead. She is kidnapped and in the process of being sold to the prostitution racket.
With time working against him, Ram undertakes a bold rescue mission to save his daughter. In an intense standoff, he fights the criminals and gets reunited with Nimisha. The movie concludes in a victorious note as Ram unveiled the perpetrators and brought about justice.
"Haraa" is an intriguing action thriller portraying the perversion of society, human trafficking, and a relentless quest for justice by a father. It is a love tale, a record of determination, and an unbeatable father-daughter love.
