Kajal, played by Sridevi is always complaining about the lack of money and facilities they have. Her husband Raj, played by Anil Kapoor is a hard working employee and does his best to keep his wife and two kids happy but its never enough for Kajal. One day Raj’s boss’s daughter Jahnvi, returns from abroad and mistakes Raj for the driver and talks rudely to him. He gives her back and doesn’t take nonsense from her. Jahnvi is annoyed but lets him go. On another occasion when she is being molested by her father’s friend’s son Raj saves her and drops her home safely. Jahnvi instantly falls in love with him and tells her father this is the man she would like to marry. Her father tells her that he is already married but that doesn’t deter her.

 

Jahnvi one day tells Kajal that she is in love with her husband and is ready to pay any price to marry him. At first Kajal refuses but later she re-thinks and gets excited on hearing the price she is paying. She begs and forces her husband to remarry Jahnvi. Raj protests and gets angry but after Kajal goes on a hunger strike and gets ill her agrees. Soon the kids and Raj get closer to Jahnvi. This bothers Kajal and she slowly slips into sadness and loneliness. She then begs Jahnvi to return her husband. Jahnvi agrees and bids the family a tearful goodbyw and also confesses that she is pregnant with Raj’s child.

 

The movie is directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Surinder Kapoor.
