Kadamai (2024)

“Kadamai” is a crime action thriller directed by Sukran Shankar, and the film has Seeralan Krishnan and Sandhiya playing the central roles. Even after retirement, Seeralan does not give up on his duty. Things take a dramatic turn when “Seeralan” is betrayed by his own department. The corrupt officials, with the aim of silencing him, frame him for crimes he had never committed. As part of their disgusting scheme, they arrange for the return of people whom he had supposedly killed. It raises eerie questions, are the victims really alive, or is it all a grand illusion? Seeralan is left battling not only for justice but for his own survival as he uncovers a dark conspiracy. “Kadamai” features an interesting plot full of action, suspense, and edge-of-the-seat drama. Seeralan Krishnan is excellent in his role, playing out the dilemma of an honest officer amidst corruption. The film catches the viewer's off guard with shocking twists and a cliff-hanging finale. With good performances and an interesting story, “Kadamai” is a crime thriller that must be seen.
