Synopsis

Jaisingh Jadav is a hard working and respected journalist in one of the leading newspapers. His investigations and research have always yielded the best of news. The Delhi based journalist then finds out the flesh trade is very much active in a village in Madhya Pradesh and the girls are mostly from the Bhil tribe. He decides to expose their evil business by travelling to the village. To make his research more realistic, Jaisingh even purchases a girl named Kamla and takes her home with him. He then holds a press conference giving everyone an insight into what is going on in the village. The film is directed by Jagmohan Mundhra and produced by Perry Lamba and Jagmohan Mundhra. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The story and screenplay is written by Vijay Tendulkar and the cinematography is by Pravin Bhatt. The star cast includes Shabana Azmi, Deepti Naval, Marc Zuber and A K Hangal.
