Despite the initial happy marriage, Vijay becomes overburdened with work and finds it difficult to make quality time to be with Devi. Soon, Devi delivers a baby girl but dies shortly thereafter. Woe and strain make the entire family dismal with contention. Vijay splits the family, divides the house. His sister takes care of his daughter, but there’s emotional friction.
One day, his daughter and Raja, Vijaya’s son, run away from home. Lost and frightened, the siblings wander onto the streets. They are saved and sheltered by a nice lass named Latha. Meanwhile, a reckless gang seeks to abduct the kids for their purposes. Vijay and Latha join forces to guard them, fending off the predators together. Through these battles, Latha becomes a safe place in their lives. Ultimately, the threat reunites the entire clan. Confusions are resolved, and the family are together, at peace and in love again.
