This romantic musical comedy is a slice-of-life kind of a movie that depicts what life is with good friends and the adventures and experiences one can have with them. The story of Love Lies and Seeta revolves around three friends; Arjun Gupta, who is a diehard Bollywood fan, Michael Derek, who is a self confessed Rock Star and Lavrenti Lopes, who is a geek. They spend their having lots of fun in New York City during the summer of 2010.
A twist in the seemingly peaceful tale comes with the entry of beauty queen Seeta. Arjun, Michael and Lavrenti all meet her individually, at different times in their lives and are quite besotted by her charm and beauty. They go about their lives and get closer as friends until one day they bump into Seeta once again. This time they all recognize her and come to the epic realization that they all have fallen in love with the same girl.
Confused and exasperated at having to deal with this bizarre situation, the three friends consult their different friends form outside their circle on advice on how to go about things going forward. The love for Seeta completely blinds and shrouds the three men with their friends and their seemingly innocent lives.
The movie is directed, produced and written by Chandra Pemmaraju. The music is composed by Dan Omelia, Robopop and Wired Beats. The star cast includes Arjun Gupta, Lavrenti Lopes, Michael Derek and Melanie Kannokada.
