Manthan is an Emotional-Social Drama Thriller Film crafted with excellence and written by Shyam Benegal. The Story revolves around the life of Dr. Rao (played by Girish Karnad)- A Vet Doctor comes to a remote village for development and staring at a Milk Factory for the villagers. However, his trouble arises- when Sarpanch (played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda) and a wealthy business tycoon (played by Amrish Puri) are against it and tries every step to demolish his dreams.
