Mere Baap Pehle Aap (2008)

Janardhan, played by Paresh Rawal is a widower who brings up his two sons Gaurav, played by Akshaye Khanna and Chiraj, played by Manoj Joshi, all by himself. He has left no stone unturned to bring them up with love and respect. Once adults, the boys decide to take matters in their own hands. Gaurav takes the reins in his hands and treats his father like his son by disciplining him, scolding him and taking care of his every need. He also makes sure his father’s close friend Madhav who is a divorcee doesn’t spoil him. Although he has gooten his father into trouble many times and Gaurav has bailed them out. One day Gaurav’s old classmate Shikha, played by Genelia D’Souza calls him up and they realize that her guardian Anuradha and Janardhan were old lovers. They now hatch a plan to get the two lost lovers married. In the process however, Gaurav and Shikha end up falling in love too. Eventually despite many objections Gaurav gets his father married to Anuradha and he gets married to Shikha. The movie is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Shemaroo Films. The music is composed by Vidyasagar.
