Mere Husband Ki Biwi is one of the recently released movies of the romantic-comedy genre. This new film’s story mainly revolves around the life of a young businessman named Ankur Chadda, who has been looking after his generational real estate business for more than five years along with his father but is still having nightmares of his college love, Prabhleen Kaur Dhillon, despite their divorce that happened five years ago. Due to these kind of nightmares, he finds himself unable to sustain any kind of relationship, but while he is looking after the business, he goes to Rishikesh in order to finalize a real estate deal, wherein he meets Antara Khanna, whom he knows from college and later on, after taking the advice of his best friend, Rehan Qureshi, he then goes on to pursue a relationship with Antara and a new love story arises between them. Then, Ankur opens up to Antara about his disastrous marriage with Prabhleen, wherein he reveals that Prabhleen’s true commitment towards her career and his flamboyant attitude didn’t age well and due to these arguments between them, their marriage gets disrupted, resulting in a divorce. Meanwhile, the story further takes a twist wherein Ankur gets a news that Prabhleen has been injured in a deadly accident and has been immediately admitted to the hospital. As a result, Ankur rushes to the hospital in order to meet her, only to find out that she has lost her memories of the last five years and doesn’t remember the conflicts in her marriage with Ankur and still loves her the way she used to do before. However, Ankur finds himself entangled in a difficult situation wherein his personal life is at high risk, wherein he has to choose one partner for the rest of his life. What will happen further? Whom will Ankur choose? Will he reunite with Antara? Can Prabhleen sacrifice her love in order to reunite Ankur and Antara? This is one of the recently released movies that has entertained the audiences through its drama, romance and the chaotic humour that surrounds it, along with the immersifying visuals and a storyline centered around the complexities of the relationships in the modern times.
