Set in the heart of Chandigarh, a Punjabi mother is the epitome of love, compassion and inspiration for all. She is the new age woman who will not take nonsense from others and let anyone judge her for her choices. She keeps the traditions and values of an Indian mother intact, yet has her own value system, where she balances love and relationships with aplomb.

 

Mummy Punjabi taps into the emotional journey of a confident mother who will do anything to keep her family happy and yet not compromise on her morals. Her love and care for her husband in the most fragile of situations, shows how mentally strong the mother is. Despite all odds she will also portray a true picture of a strong woman to her children and balance her family life with her other choices.

 

The movie is directed by Pammi Somal and produced by Pammi Somal and Sonny Somal. The music is composed by Aadesh Shrivastav and the singers include Sonu Nigam, Hariharan, Akriti Kakar, Richa Sharma and Shaan. The cinematography is by Vivek Banerjee and choreography by Longines Fernandes and Raju Khan.
