Jaswinder, played by Riteish Deshmukh goes to USA, but promises his family he will return soon and come back with lots of money to marry off his sister. Soon Jaswinder is introduced to a local American girl named Sally, played by Brande Roderick and they fall in love. He then marries her to get American citizenship. He forgets about the promise he made to his family and is happy in his own little world. His parents meanwhile find him a traditional Indian bride Richa. Jaswinder’s father fakes a heart attack and asks Jaswinder to rush to India.
On reaching India Jaswinder if surprised and relived to see his father hail and hearty but he is engaged to Richa against his wishes. He reluctantly marries Richa and in a few days leaves for America. All are surprised at his quick departure to the US. While there he doesn’t tell Sally about his marriage. Meanwhile Jaswinder’s father and Richa decide to travel to the US and surprise him. Richa then gets a makeover and becomes modern, but this upset’s Jaswinder’s father. When he sees Richa he falls in love with her. Now Jaswinder will have to make a decision who does he ultimately want to spend the rest of his life with.
The movie is directed by Apurva Asrani and Ramanjit Juneja. The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand.
