In India, power cuts and load shedding is very common, especially in the interiors of the country. Some very modern cities have also started load shedding due to unavailability of proper power resources. Others who have 24 hours power are usually seen complaining about the huge bill served to them at the end of the month. The movie Power Cut by comedian Jaspal Bhatti is a humorous take on the problem of electricity.
The story of the movie revolves around two youngsters who are happy-go-lucky and living a life full of fun and frolic. For them life is all about having a good time and living every moment like its your last. They both incidentally end up falling in love with the same damsel named ‘Bijli’ and are completely besotted by her. They try their best to woo her in their own separate way.
The movie is directed by jaspal Bhatti and produced by Paveljit Ruppal. The star cast includes Zafar Khan, Jasraj Bhatti, Surilie Gautam, Jaspal Bhatti, Jasvinder Bhalla, Chandan Prabhakar, Savita Bhatti and Prem Chopra. The music is composed by Gurmeet Singh and the singers include Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, Master Saleem and Lembar Hussainpuri. The dialogues are written by Jaspal Bhatti and the cinematography is by Raju Kaygee.
