Psych Siddhartha is a new Telugu film from director and co-writer Varun Reddy, who worked alongside Shree Nandu on the script. The movie stars Yamini Bhaskar, Pradyumna Billuri, and Sakshi Chaturvedi, each of them adding real weight to this story about picking up the pieces when life falls apart.
The plot revolves around Siddharth, a man who has lost everything to the max: his money, his ego, and his friends. He is in the slum and his life is turning out to be a hard, strange, and difficult one. On the other hand, there is Shravya, a not very nice but very resilient single mother and the devil-may-care type who will not let anybody control her. She becomes a light of hope for Siddharth and there is a moment when he might actually get his life back and maybe even find love. But suddenly his past comes back and ruins everything he has just built up.
Psych Siddhartha will be released on December 12. It is a full-length feature film, so expect the whole plot at one go. If you want a film that makes a spectator feel a lot and feel only the extreme of emotions through the twists and turns, then this is that film. It is all about hope and chances, and of course, grabbing the latter when the former is still there, no matter how hard it gets.
