PT Sir

“PT Sir” is a 2024 Tamil action drama film directed and written by Karthik Venugopalan and produced by Isharu K. Ganesh. The film features Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Anikha Surendran in main roles.

“Kanagavel” (Hiphop Tamizha) is a young physical training instructor at a school in Erode. His mother, Eswari, is extremely protective and advises him never to take part in social causes, as an astrologer had once forecast it would be lethal for him. Kanagavel is infatuated with his colleague, “Vanathi” (Kashmira Pardeshi), and their marriage is fixed.

Simultaneously, Kanagavel's neighbor and college-going girl “Nandhini” (Anikha Surendran) is sexually harassed by unknown males. Afraid of trouble, Kanagavel doesn't take action and instructs Nandhini to move on. However, destiny is cruel as Nandhini commits suicide on the eve of Kanagavel's engagement. Heated under shame, he finally takes action. Bypassing his mother's warning, he lodges a complaint against the influential college chairman GP Purushothaman with charges of being a party to the crime.

There are a few shocks along the way. Purushothaman himself is shown to have raped Nandhini, driving her to the brink. But in a surprising twist, it is discovered that Nandhini did not die after all: she had staged her suicide to make sure Purushothaman was arrested. Through her evidence and testimony, the judge sentences Purushothaman to life imprisonment.

With justice being served, Kanagavel is at peace and ultimately marries Vanathi, accepting a future where he no longer shies away from doing what is right.
