Rattan (1944)

Rattan is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by M. Sadiq and written by R.S. Choudhury. The story revolves around the life of Govind (played by Karan Dewan)- a kind-hearted man living with his family and meets with Gauri (played by Swaran Lata)- a sweet girl and wanted to marry each other- but they belong to different castes, they can't marry each other. Things get complicated- when Gauri gets married to someone much elder to her and causes consequences.
