Akash Dev, is a novelist living in Delhi. After his last novel titled ‘Light House’ doesn’t give him the desired results, he decides to write something more exciting that is sure to hit the jackpot. After much deliberation and help from his editor friend Khanna, he decides to write about Gandhiji. He wants to write something no one has written before and thus embarks on a journey to a small village called Shivpura, where a Gandhi bhakt stays. However, on the way Akash has to endure many challenges like when his car breaks down in Palanpur, he walks to find a mechanic but then his luggage is stolen.
One reaching Shivpura, Akash tries to impress everyone by showing off that he knows a lot of influential people there like politicians and ministers. He then is given the humongous challenge of building a road in the middle of nowhere in the village. He also happens to fall for the village mukhiya’s pretty daughter. The road to his success is very tough as the Chief Minister comes to know of his intentions and makes life hell for Akash.
The movie is directed by Abhik Bhanu and produced by Abhik Bhanu. The music is composed by Jatin-Lalit and Lalit Pandit. The cinematography is by Arvind K.
