Sadhna is an Emotional-Romantic Musical Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by B.R. Chopra. The Story revolves around the life of Mohan (played by Sunil Dutt)- A Kind-hearted man living with his Widowed Mother (played by Leela Chitnis) and working as a Professor in College and his Mother wanted to marry him. However, when her health collapses- he seeks help from a neighbor and hires a girl- Rajni (played by Vyjayanthimala)- A Beautiful girl to pose as her wife and her Mother's heath drastically become good and she loved her and gave the Jewels and property. Things get complicated- when they come to know the Real Identity of Rajni- A Prostitute by the name of Chmapabai, leading to consequences.
