Satyakam is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film crafted with excellence by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The Story revolves around the life of Satyaprya (played by Dharmendra)- An Engineer graduating after Independence of India with his Friend Naren (played by Sanjeev Kumar) and pursuing employment in Bhawanigarh. Vikram Singh- A Cruel man having absolute power in the City- while committing rape of Ranjhana (played by Sharmila Tagore)- saved by Satyapriya and he marries her. but things get complicated- after his family hesitates to accept her, leading to consequences.
