Shikara (2020)

The story of Shikara revolves around the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits and Hindus from Kashmir. This leads to a lot of distress in the state where thousands are rendered homeless and violence breaks out in the peaceful beautiful serene region. The film also showcases the eternal love story of Shiv and Shanti, who never let go of hope and keep their love alive in trying times. The film is a story of triumph and courage in times of hopelessness. The film is directed and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film’s screenplay is written by Rahul Pandita, Abhijat Joshi and Vishu Vinod Chopra. The film’s star cast includes Aadil Khan and Sadia. The music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya, Abhay Sopori and Rohit Kulkarni. The cinematography is by Rangarajan Ramabadran.
