The film is about Samar, a man haunted by a traumatic past who develops a deep hatred for women and becomes involved in human trafficking. His life changes abruptly following his arrest and placement in a mental institution, as he finds love with a mentally unstable fellow inmate.

Dileep is a wealthy industrialist who secretly lures young women, sleeps with them, and then kills them. His adoptive father, a bitter man who also hates women, watches these crimes from a hidden room. The victims are buried in Dileep’s garden, marked by red rose bushes. Dileep meets Sarada, a modest garment saleswoman, and falls in love. Sarada insists they marry before being together. On their wedding night, Dileep rushes out to silence a waiter who witnessed him with a woman named Chitra, whom Dileep later kills after the waiter demands more money.

Sarada soon notices strange things at home. Chased by a cat one day to a hidden room, she finds papers exposing Dileep's dark past. Once an orphan named Muthu, Dileep was unfairly charged with assault and rejected. Encouraged by his adoptive father, he grew to despise women after seeing a brutal tragedy. Lock Sarada discovers the adoptive father viewing videos of Dileep's atrocities. Sarada discovers the adoptive father watching videos of Dileep’s crimes and locks him up. Dileep returns, and a chase ensues. In a graveyard, Dileep accidentally impales himself but keeps chasing Sarada. He is arrested by the police and loses his mind, only recalling Sarada's name. Hoping their marriage will last, and he will be released, Sarada sees him in prison.

A compelling psychological thriller, Sigappu Rojakkal examines the disturbed mind of a man moulded by betrayal and trauma. The movie stands out for its strong storyline, eerie mood and complex character portrayal. It keeps viewers on edge with unsettling imagery and a tense buildup.
