Talaq (1938)

Talaq is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Sohrab Modi. The Story revolves around the life of Roopa (played by Naseem Banu)- a sweet girl who gets married to Politician Niranjan (played by Navin Yagnik) by her family and wanted a divorce and seeks assistance from Chhabilelal (played by Gajanan Jagirdar)- an editor of the newspaper to bring change in Divorce Laws and he helped her by sacrificing his personal life- but things get complicated- when Amarnath (played by Prem Adib)- who married her after her divorce and then later uses the same law for her, leading to consequences.
