"“The Greatest of All Time” (2024) is a Tamil spy action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and featuring Vijay in a dual role, along with Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, and Ajmal Ameer. The movie combines high-octane action, emotional drama, and surprising turns in an engaging revenge story. The plot revolves around “M.S. Gandhi”, a retired Special Anti-Terrorism Squad (SATS) officer. In 2008, he and his team intercepted a terrorist operation in Kenya, recovering uranium and killing their former chief, “Rajiv Menon”, a defector. At home, Gandhi keeps his actual profession secret from his wife “Anu” and son “Jeevan”. On a mission in Bangkok, their family is ambushed, Anu gives birth prematurely, and Jeevan vanished mysteriously. A charred corpse is discovered, and Gandhi is left heartbroken. Anu gives birth to Jeevitha but never forgives Gandhi. In 2024, Gandhi served as an immigration officer in Chennai. While on a mission in Moscow, he finds that Jeevan is alive but brainwashed by “Menon”, who kidnapped him and brought him up as Sanjay. Influenced to seek vengeance, Jeevan comes back to wreck the life of Gandhi. As Gandhi exposes the conspiracy, there are betrayals such as his erstwhile ally Kalyan, who is working for Menon. A final confrontation at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium involves Gandhi foiling a terrorist attack and eventually killing Jeevan. It turns out in a stunning twist that Jeevan was a mere clone. True Jeevan, still brainwashed by Menon, has produced further clones to fulfill his mission. With chic action, emotional baggage, and nail-biting scenes, “The Greatest of All Time” is an engaging and suspenseful movie experience. "
