The Taj Story is a forthcoming Hindi courtroom drama written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel. The film is produced by CA Suresh Jha with Vikas Radhesham as creative producer under the banner Swarnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd. It features Paresh Rawal, Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das in lead ensemble roles. The plot is centred around controversies and unanswered questions about who really built the Taj Mahal. The film delves into contested historical narratives and re-examines commonly accepted facts. The teaser shows Rawal in a legal proceeding, making a case regarding an "intellectual wipe-out" of a community. The film is called a "cinematic debate", which mixes social commentary with history.
