Thedu (2020)

“Thedu” is an action drama in Tamil, which was released in 2020. It was directed by Suci Eeswar and produced by Sivakasi Murugesan. The major cast includes Santhosh Sanjay, Meghana, and Sivakasi Murugesan. There's a sequence on “Arjun”, a young gentle soul played by Santhosh Sanjay who loves an independent woman “Meera” (Meghana). They get married. As expected, they don't remain happy for a long time, as “Rajendran”, alias Sivakasi Murugesan, also known as one of the big-time gangsters, comes across their affair and takes steps in his usual rough way. Rajendran is a cruel man who has always been very overprotective about Meera. For him, no one is good enough for his daughter and certainly not some ordinary man like Arjun. Over the marriage decision between the two, he decides that he will go and kill Arjun to be done with the love story between the two. When Rajendran leaves to kill Arjun, Meera is torn between love and loyalty. She tells her father that Arjun is the right guy for her, but he refuses to listen to her. He does not step back either. Arjun was aware of how much it was worth fighting for love. Thus, he accepted all risks for Meera. A deadly cat-and-mouse game begins as Rajendran sends his men after Arjun. With each attack, Arjun proves his strength and determination. He doesn't just fight for himself; he fights for Meera, for their love, and for the chance to have a future together. With the last showdown between Arjun and Rajendran, Meera makes a last attempt at stopping the carnage and changing her father's heart. Love or hate win? Or would the anger of Rajendran consume everything? “Thedu” is a love, action, and redemption story, which portrays how far one goes for love and whether even the hardest hearts can change.
