The story of Total Siyapaa revolves around the cultural and traditional differences between India and Pakistan, and how the people from both sides sometimes refuse to accept each other just the way they are. Having preconceived notions about the other country and forming a negative judgment can more often than not hinder any hope of peace and friendship between the two countries.
Aman, played by Ali Zafar is an aspiring musician from Pakistan, living in London, who has his shoulders firmly on his shoulders. He knows what he wants and will do everything in his capacity to get it. Asha, played by Yami Gautam is a sweet and attractive girl who will not go against her parents wishes in any way and is a homely simple girl, also settled in London. Aman and Asha fall in love but learning the country he’s from she is unsure if her peculiar Punjabi Indian parents will aceept him. Non the less he goes to her house to ask her hand in marriage.
The drama of the fact that their daughter is in love with a Pakistani guy is what the film is centered around. Asha’s father’s role is played by Anupam Kher and mother’s role is played by Kirron Kher. They both keep doubting Aman in every way and are hell bent in finding flaws in him. The movie is directed by Eeshwar Nivas and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia. The music is composed by Ali Zafar.
