“Valimai” is a Tamil action thriller movie that was released in 2021. Directed by H. Vinoth and Produced under Bayview Project LLP and Zee Studios by Boney Kapoor, it has been cast by Ajith Kumar and has appeared on screen along with Karthikeya and Huma Qureshi. The movie is about Arjun (Ajith Kumar), a sincere police officer in Chennai, who was assigned with the job to destroy a notorious biker gang linked to theft, drug trafficking and gruesome murders. With the crime rate escalating in the city, pressure grew on Arjun to bring back order. The gang, headed by Naren (Karthikeya), was terrorized without any hesitation of repercussions.With his razor-sharp brain and exceptional fighting skills, Arjun takes up the risky mission of halting them.

What sets apart "Valimai" is its octane fuelled action sequences, heart-stopping bike chases and performance-filled outing by Ajiyh Kumar. Ajith oozes a superhero sort of aura and performs every stunt with ease. Huma Qureshi is a decent support, imbuing the story with depth. Karthikeya is impressive as the menacing antagonist and makes the face-off between Arjun and Naren intense and thrilling.

While the storyline in certain areas does not go deeper, the movie's action is so gripping, and the emotional moments are quite appealing. A blend of mass action, stylish cinematography, and a pulsating background score makes Valimai one of the best movies ever made for the action lovers.
