VIP 2 Lalkar (2017)

Raghuvaran wins the Civil Engineer of the Year Award and is elated. He becomes the executive member of his company but his wife Shalini doubts his capabilities and is always nagging him. Meanwhile the chairman of a large construction company Vasundhara offers him a job at her company but he refuses saying he wants to start his own company soon. One day when Vasundhara and Raghavan are invited to showcase their respective models, they both present their models in their own way, the project is given to Raghuvaran’s company called Anitha constructions. Raghuvaran later gives Vasundhara advice but she gets offended and decides to get back at him in any ways he can. She becomes his arch rival and decides to destroy him. Raghuvaran is then given an offer by a construction mogul from Delhi to start a new company with 50-50 shares and call it VIP constructions. Vasundhara later buys the 50 % shares owned by him. Some goons sent by his rival come to attack him and he thinks they have been sent by Vasundhara. They both get stuck in her office building due to incessant rains and get to talk. She soon realizes her mistake and they both become friends and business partners. The film is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu and Dhanush. The star cast includes Dhanush, Kajol,Amala Paul, Vivek,Cell Murugan,Hrishikesh, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani.
