Synopsis

Zehan is one of the upcoming movies of the drama genre. This new film’s story surveys Aakash, who is a man tortured by primal childhood trauma and multi personality disorders. As a child Aakash would watch his father murder his own mother and subsequently neglect him so the contours of this boy's psyche were split into disassociation. Fast forward to today where Aakash is a handsome man who sails through life like a moth to flame in an expensive SUV, dressed in a sharp suit and picking up women at the pub while being haunted by fear and unprocessed rage. Aakash meets Mona by chance, as he saves her from an unwanted advance, after which she begins to become enamoured by his captivating masculinity and old-fashioned charm. Mona in her excitement, offers to bring him into her life along with her friend Nisha and admirer Ajay. Unfortunately this is where Aakash's inhumane disposition begins to escalate, as he becomes increasingly possessive of Mona, uses Nisha to reach Mona, and ultimately becomes sexually reliant on her to sustain his toxic masculinity and obsession. Later, Mona disappears which leads Nisha and Ajay to raise the alarm with the police. Following this twist of events, Mona wakes at Aakash's home thinking this is all a melodramatic surprise, until soon realising she is in grave danger. The plot reveals Aakash has a serial killer lying dormant inside him, the fractured soul of a child who witnessed the murder of his mother, in search of replacement relationships. In a tense climax, the police close in. Mona and Nisha narrowly escape, forcing Aakash into confrontation, and ultimately, his downfall and death. Zehan is one of the recent movie releases that is a haunting exploration of trauma, identity, and obsession, blending suspense with emotional depth as it chronicles one man’s descent into darkness and its ripple effect on unsuspecting lives.
