Aap Jaisa Koi Trailer Out Fatima Sana Shaikh And R Madhavan’s Love Story Shows Relevance In Modern Times

A fresh and new romantic film, ‘Aap Jaisa Koi,’ starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is coming to Netflix. After releasing its teaser and sharing some of its posters, the makers have released the trailer of the film and thereby shared a glimpse of the film’s plot.

Trailer Highlights

The two-minute and twenty-seven-second trailer of ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ begins with R. Madhavan’s character, Srirenu Tripathi, who is actively looking for a bride through a dating app. Then, he meets Fatima Sana Shaikh’s character Madhu Bose,  a French professor. Meanwhile, Srirenu is a Sanskrit teacher; their profession is indirectly the same, but the languages are totally different. Srirenu is 42 years old, and Madhu is 32 years old.

Further, when their wedding gets fixed, Srirenu's family members claim that a French professor can be wild in nature, and they cannot allow any working woman. Amid these chaotic situations, Srirenu shouts, 'The wedding is cancelled.' He said this while returning the ring to Madhu, adding, 'You are just like others.'

Vivek Soni directs this upcoming film, and Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment produces it. The cast includes R. Madhavan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ayesha Raza, Manish Chaudhari and Namit Das in pivotal roles. They will release the film on 11th July, 2025.
