The newly released Hindi trailer has already created a buzz among the movie lovers. Lokesh Kanagaraj known for redefining commercial Tamil cinema block busters is for the first time will debut as an actor. 


Packed with gripping drama, emotionally charged moments in the film with intense action, the trailer introduces the audience to a dark and violent world driven by crime, love, revenge and survival.  It will also feature stylish visuals. DC promises an edge of the seat, high octane cinematic experience for the viewers. 


Lokesh Kanagaraj will star alongside the talented Wamiqa Gabbi. The fresh screen pair has generated enough excitement in the film that is directed by Arun Matheswaran who is known for his distinctive storytelling and the visually striking filmmaking.  Together the trio aims to deliver a powerful action drama with an emotional depth for a commercial entertainment.

DC is planned on a grand scale and is expected to be one of the biggest releases this year.  Adding further the music composed by Anirudh Ravichander has energetic soundtrack which is expected to elevate the film’s intense narratives.

In this major move for the Hindi films market, Dharma Productions has come on board for the distribution of the film across North India to ensure the film has a wide theatrical release in the Hindi speaking territories in India.  


DC is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on the 7th of August 2026.  The movie will be released in multiple languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.  With Lokesh Kanagaraj making his acting debut, and audience looking forward to his powerful performance it will be a nationwide release strategy with DC shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited entertainers of the year.
