Several Pakistani artists who have been banned in India. Following Operation Sindoor, were called out for statement. Celina Jaitly came forward to slam them stating they benefit from our industry but have remained silent about the terrorism that killed 26 innocent tourist Indians.   Whether it was Fawad Khan or Mahira Khan , or any other Pakistani artist, they had a platform to demand change and condemn terrorism that is prevailing in their country.   Celina expressed the Pakistani actors got slammed for their statement amidst the tension between India and Pakistan.

Celina said the interest of our nation should always be on a top priority . She expressed why were the Pakistani actors remaining silent on the terrorism that their government supports while these artists have benefitted from our thriving film industry.   These artists have a platform to condemn the killings at Pahalgam by the terrorists,  but have chosen to remain silent.

She stated, it’s  best to look into the real accountability and dismantle any terror networks as we stand firm and draw clear boundaries.

She said those with power who influence millions choose silence, it is deafening that they don’t share the same sentiments of a fight against terrorism.   Therefore, Patriotism is not just standing for the country alone it’s also to fight against evil and wrong doings.  History will always remember who stood up for us for a cause to eradicate terrorism.

Celina’s father and grandfather have been war veterans and her brother , a Forces Officer, the actress feels patriotism runs in her DNA. When our soldiers are on the front protecting our motherland , their families are in grief and mourn their unpredictable death, it is only the right of our film industry to pause and reflect .
