After YRF, Sajid Nadiadwala Signs A 5 Film Deal With Amazon Prime Video

Recently there was news of Yash Raj Films to have struck a 4 film deal with streaming giant Amazon Prime Video for Rs. 250 crores. Now producer Sajid Nadiadwala has signed a similar deal for more than Rs 250 crores for his 5 upcoming films with the same OTT platform. The five films include Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti 2, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Satyanarayan Ki Katha and Kick 2.” The Salman Khan starrer Kick 2 has apparently fetched the maximum amount. The film is still in the planning phase and Sajid is keen to make the film with the Radhe actor soon. 

 

The deal is a flexible one where both parties are yet to decide on the window period between the films’ theatrical and OTT releases. Apart from the above 5 films, Nadiadwala’s upcoming Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria starrer Tadap will also be streaming on Amazon after 4 weeks of its release in cinema halls.
