Ahan Shetty Opens Up On Nepotism In Bollywood

Actor Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood veteran Suniel Shetty, has shared his candid thoughts on the ongoing debate around nepotism in the film industry.

The young actor, who made his debut with Tadap in 2021, admitted that while being a star kid offers certain privileges, it also brings immense pressure and expectations.

In a recent conversation with a news channel, Ahan acknowledged the dual reality of his journey in Bollywood. “Yes, being from a film family opens doors, but it doesn’t guarantee success. At the end of the day, the audience decides your future. If I don’t deliver, no amount of privilege will save me,” he expressed.

Ahan also shared that the comparisons to his father Suniel Shetty often weigh heavily on him. “People expect me to match or even surpass my father’s legacy, which is not easy. The pressure is constant, but it also motivates me to work harder,” he added.

Currently, Ahan is gearing up for his next big project, Border 2, along with a slate of upcoming films lined up for release. With his focus on building a career based on merit, he hopes to carve his own space in Bollywood beyond the nepotism debate.
