Ajay Devgn And Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Thank God Trailer Out!

The makers of Indra Kumar's Thank God (2022) yesterday revealed that Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of Lord Chitragupta in the film. According to Hindu mythology, he judges the deeds of people after their death and decides whether they deserve to go to heaven or hell. But the film's trailer is about a man Ayan Kapoor (Siddharth Malhotra), who is caught between life and death in Chitragupta's court after a serious accident.

Despite the film being about a man's morality, it falls under the category of light-hearted style. Apart from the meta-joke on Devgn's Singham (2011), the intended jokes don't divide you. Devgn's character makes a problematic sexist joke stating that it doesn't suit women to use abusive words. The makers have bought the Hindi rights of Yohani's Sinhala language song 'Manike Mange Hite' and the song's melody plays throughout the trailer.
