Ajay Devgn In Syed Abdul Rahim Biopic

Known to be an action hero, this will be the first time, Ajay Devgan will be seen in a athletic avatar. He is all set to play the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim who helped India win its Gold medal in the 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta. The other members of the team will include a combination of real sports players and look a like actors which include, PK Banerjee, Jarnail Singh and Chuni Goswami among others.

 

Although the rest of the cast has begun training at a ground in Santacruz, the Singham actor will begin his training later. The team will move to another city after their Mumbai training completion. The shoot with begin in Mumbai and then move to Lucknow. The female lead opposite Ajay will be south actress Keerthy Suresh.
