Akshay Kumar Starrer Sooryavanshi Release Postponed Once Again

Looks like there is absolutely no respite for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. After the release being pushed further multiple times, it has suffered the same fate once more. While the makers and lead star Akshay Kumar was hoping to see it release in the first half of 2021, but due to the rising Covid cases in Mumbai and the lead actor himself having tested positive, its release has been delayed again. It was initially slated to hit the big screens on 23rd March 2020 before the pandemic crisis turned up.

Sooryavanshi also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead and will see cameo appearances by actor Ranveer Singh as ‘Simmba’ and Ajay Devgn as ‘Singham’ in the movie. Akshay Kumar also has a huge line up of other releases including Bell Bottom, Bachchan Pandey and Atrangi Re, among others.
