Akshay Kumar Starrer Sooryavanshi To Re-Release In Gujarat On Makar Sankranti

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is not just a crowd puller but strikes gold for his filmmakers. The on going pandemic has played a dampener for the industry but the Bell Bottom actor has hardly been affected. He has innumerable movies up for release and in a first will see the re-release of his cop drama film Sooryavanshi. The film initially released in October 2021 after more than a year of being postponed. On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti today, the Katrina Kaif starrer will hit 30 non-national multiplex screens in Gujarat. 

 

Despite being available on the OTT platform, Sooryavanshi collected net Rs 42 crore in Gujarat. The makers are sure that re-releasing the film will boost its profits further. The film has cashed in Rs. 231.70 by the end of 2021. Sooryavanshi also has cameos by Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. Akshay meanwhile has multiple other releases lined up including Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, Gorkha and Raksha Bandhan.
