Amitabh Bachchan’s first love got married to someone else

Although much has been written and said about the Shahensha of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, few know that his love story has been heartbreaking just like the Bollywood movies he works in. Before there were rumors of his affair with actress Rekha and his subsequent marriage to Jaya Bhaduri, the superstar was in love with another girl. In an interview with a popular film magazine, Rekha divulged many details of their relationship, which upset his wife Jaya so much that she asked him to stop working with her.

 

There was however another girl in life before Rekha came, and she was a Maharastrian girl. Her name and other details have not been revealed but it was said that even though the actor and her were madly in love, circumstances didn’t let them get married and she got married elsewhere. The movie Silsila, which was directed by Yash Chopra was the last movie, which saw Rekha, Jaya Bhaduri and Amitabh Bachchan share screen space together.
