Amruta Khanvilkar, Adinath Kothare Give A Stellar Performance In Chandramukhi Trailer

Marathi filmmaker Prasad Oak has finally unveiled his much awaited directorial Chandramukhi’s official trailer. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the spectacular chemistry between lead stars Amruta Khanvilkar and Adinath Kothare. He is a respected politician while she is a beautiful Lavani dancer. Their love gets a twist when the latter’s wife introduces herself and all hell breaks loose. Chandra is seen as an outcast and called names. We will have to see the film to know the outcome of this controversial love. 

 

Chandramukhi also stars Mrunmayee Deshpande, Dr.Mohan Agashe and Rajendra Shisatkar. Speaking about his film, director Prasad Oak had earlier said, “This story is very powerful. It was only when I decided to make this film that I was convinced in my head who would play this character. Therefore, each character is fit for his role. Everything in this movie has been done with a lot of thought and its grandeur will be seen on the screen.” Heaping praises for the cast he further added, “There was some thought behind bringing the character of Damayanti in the film to the audience after so many days. So now the curiosity of the audience has increased. All the actors have worked hard for this film. Amruta has gained weight to play the role and she has worked hard to maintain the same weight for the film.” 

 

Chandramukhi is an adaptation of novelist Vishwas Patil’s novel and will release on 29th April 2022.
